Addison and Liza are two brothers who arrive in a apparently hopeless situation, after a robbery at a casino did not go as planned. After a car accident resulted in two dead, he two break up and try on their own to reach the border with Canada in conditions which outside is cold and blizzard. While Addison crosses the country causing chaos in his path, Liza is rescued by the cold weather outside by a former boxer – Jay, which went with car to 
her parents’ home, June and Chet, to celebrate with them. Things take a dramatic turn when Addison makes its appearance in family house that hosted her sister.
