Romantic love shows its quirky side in this movie, too. Thats to be expected in a Steve Carell movie, and this is one of his very best. Hes the main character, caught up in heartfelt turmoil with his estranged wife (Moore). The wheels really start turning when he meets a dashing ladies man (Gosling), who guides, him through the treacherous waters of modern single life.
